The Krysteline Difference

We do things a little differently here at Krysteline, starting with our solutions based approach to sharing our expertise and knowledge of the glass recycling industry.

Krysteline has over 20 years of experience in the recycling industry, designing and building a wide range of processing systems; from simple stand-alone units to multi-functional purification plants, meaning that we are able to provide solutions for all collected waste glass, no matter its size or quality.

Krysteline's strategy is to develop partnerships & collaborations to formulate solutions for the processing of waste glass. We diligently consider the feedstock available and deliver technology to meet our clients’ expectations, providing them with the means to produce high quality end products that service the demand of traditional marketplaces and also to assist in the development of new markets for these materials.

Through our patented, low-carbon Implosion technology, we encourage and facilitate the recycling of 100% of waste glass that would otherwise go to landfill, helping our partners to save money, resources and the planet.

While our Imploders generally fall within the “glass crusher” category, rather than crushing waste glass, our machines break down the recyclable material via an implosion process (hence the name!).    Our patented Implosion technology is designed to offer momentary vibration in the glass, which causes it to collapse. This action liberates contaminates (such as paper labels or metal bottle tops) making their separation and recovery more efficient. Our flexible processing methods allow processing plants to produce crushed glass that is sharp free and, after being screened and cleaned, a high quality product for use in a range of different marketplaces; water filtration, foam glass, hydroponics, remelt and aggregates to name but a few.

Our low carbon technology is designed specifically for glass processing, utilising high-quality, wear-resistant materials. This means our solutions not only save carbon costs but also help our partners to save money by reducing their energy bills and the regularity with which replacement parts might be required. This unique and patented Implosion technology is used globally to recover glass from a comingled waste stream which would otherwise typically be destined for landfill. This ensures that our customers can recycle 100% of waste glass by extracting, processing and preparing the glass for future use.

Through significant investment in the research and development of our technology, we have been able to provide solutions across a global marketplace, from capital cities to small remote islands, for pharmaceutical companies, MRF operators, glass producers, windscreen recyclers and many more technically and commercially challenged applications.

Krysteline owes its unique technology offerings to our continued development and adaptation to meet the demands of an ever changing marketplace. Whilst glass processing remains at the core of what we do, alternative feedstocks such as furnace slags, minerals, ores, sea shells and many other interesting products are presenting themselves as excellent additions to the array of feedstocks that our Imploders currently process.

Krysteline’s heritage has been built on providing bespoke solutions to the materials processing industry. Through our patented, low-carbon Implosion technology, we encourage and facilitate the recycling of 100% of waste glass that would otherwise go to landfill, helping our partners to save money, resources and the planet.
